There are some key reasons why the TASKI® ergodisc®175 or 200 may be the best commercial floor buffer for your facility.

In this article and video, we’ll go over all you need to know about the TASKI® ergodisc®to make sure you are selecting the best option for your business.

TASKI® ergodisc® 175 and 200 Floor Buffers

Key FeaturesTaski Ergodisc 200 - 20in Floor Machine

17-inch or 20-inch Deck Size

The TASKI® ergodisc®can be purchased with a cleaning path of 17 or 20 inches.

The TASKI®ergodisc®17-inch machine allows smaller facilities with tight spaces to be able to use a buffer.

Larger facilities with open spaces, will be able to clean more space in the same amount of time by using the 20-inch machine. Shorter cleaning times means your employees can complete additional cleaning tasks, improving productivity and lowering labor costs.

Belt Driven

The TASKI® ergodisc®is the only belt driven unit included in our best commercial buffers of 2022 list. On a belt driven floor buffer, the motor drives a belt, which in turn spins the floor brush. This belt driven machine is quieter than the other options.

Quiet Operation

Out of all of ourtop rated buffers of 2022,this is the quietest commercial floor buffer. It has the lowest noise and vibration levels to help minimize occupant disturbances during daytime cleaning procedures.

It operates at 57 dBA, which is equivalent to the sound of an electric toothbrush.

Safety

The handle on this floor buffer is enclosed, providing the best hand protection for the operator.

Ergonomic

The grip on the handles is anatomically formed for improved operator maneuverability.

It also has a low vibration level to enhance operator comfort and reduce fatigue.

Warranty

WarrantyThe ergodisc®comes with a 2-year warranty on parts. This is the shortest available warranty of the options on our list. As is typical with most commercial floor buffers, the warranty does not include wear and tear items such as brushes, drive belts, accessories, and filters.

What Makes The TASKI® ergodisc®One Of The Best Floor Buffers Of 2022?

Versatile

The ergodisc®effectively performs both hard and carpeted floor procedures.

It is a great option for wet shampooing carpets. Although other buffers can be used for carpet care, the ergodisc®offers increased precision.

这台机器可以搭配了一个坦克和解决方案brush that evenly distributes chemical solution through the center of the machine. The solution is dispensed from the tank and falls through the plate in the center of the brush. The cleaning solution is then distributed equally around the brush bristles and agitated into a foam to shampoo the carpet.

When the water goes directly through the pad it is more precise and does not require a splash guard.

使用更少的水

This machine uses less water than other industrial floor buffers. The water and dirt rinse through the pad as opposed to splashing over the pad driver, like a typical buffer.

Higher Rotations Per Minute (RPM)

Unlike most low-speed floor buffers which operate at 175 rpm, the ergodisc®17-inch buffer operates at 200 rpm.

Pro Tip:This feature is exclusive to the 17-inch floor machine. The 20-inch floor buffer operates at 175 rpm.

The higher rpm gives the 17-inch buffer the same cleaning effectiveness as the 20-inch machine. The increased speed combined with the smaller floor pad reduces the amount of friction the outer edge of the floor pad experiences. This allows for more of the face of the pad to be effectively used on each pass.

Dry Foam Encapsulation

Specific to TASKI®machines, the TASKI®ergodisc®performs dry foam encapsulation.

Dry foam encapsulation is a low moisture cleaning procedure. This allows you to use less water and leave less water in the carpet. Applying less water to the carpet means it will have a shorter dry time.

Pro Tip:Dry foam encapsulation is our recommended interim carpet cleaning procedure because it leaves less water on the carpet and leaves the carpet with a neutral pH, reducing the chance of resoiling. Preventing the attraction and buildup of dirt will allow you to extend the time between deep cleanings.

Weight

This floor buffer comes with a set of weights. The weights can be added to the machine if you are performing aggressive cleaning procedures or if you are dealing with uneven flooring, like tile.

The added weight provides increased cleaning and scrubbing power to remove tough stains.

Without the added weights, this is the lightest of the machines on our list. A lighter floor buffer allows for increased portability and operator maneuverability.

Final Thoughts

Is the TASKI®ergodisc®the best floor buffer for you?

The ergodisc®will be a good option for your facility if you are looking for a quiet, light-weight buffer that will effectively perform carpeted and hard floor maintenance procedures.

For interim maintenance of carpeted floors, using the erodisc®to perform dry foam encapsulation will reduce water usage and allow you to extend the time in between carpet cleaning procedures.

Keep in mind, when compared to our other recommended floor buffers of 2022, the ergodisc®is the most expensive option.
